Kaithal (Haryana) : Two youth leaders were killed and two seriously injured Thursday in an armed clash over a property dispute, police here said.
Anil Pehalwan, a youth leader owing allegiance to the opposition Indian National Lok Dal (INLD), was amongst the two boys shot dead at close range in this town, 130 km from state capital Chandigarh, police said.
The two injured have been referred to the Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh where their condition was stated to be serious.
Disclosing that the clash took place over a property dispute, Kaithal district police chief Anil Kumar said the incident occurred on the Kaithal bypass road.
