Madrid : Mohammad Ali Al-Taskhiri, General Secretary of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic School of Thoughts in Iran, said Wednesday that the conference of Makkah had laid the foundation for dialogue among humanity.
He noted that the conference of Makkah had reached an international call which paved the way for series of conferences.
Al-Taskhiri said the World Conference on Dialogue, which opens its works later today in the Spanish capital, constitutes an important step on the path of implementing the call of Makkah.
He noted that the convening the conference comes at the proper time in the suitable place, adding that Spain has been an advocator of civilizations’ alliance and that the conference is convened at a time when enemies of the mankind have been instigating civilization conflict.
Al-Taskhiri pointed out that the major goal of the conference is developing a positive view for life and serving the human civilization in addition to combating corruption and drugs as well as terrorism and extremism.
He said he will present through a working paper views that emanates from the Makkah call, which advocates fighting corruption, crime and drugs.
