New Delhi: Fifty organizations under the banner of Forum Against Hindutva Fascism held a protest demonstration in Hyderabad today to mark Black Day in connection with demolition of Babri Masjid, and demanded punishment to the Sangh Parivar leaders indicted in the Liberhan Commission Report for the demolition.
Large number of people, and various organizations participated in the demonstration inaugurated with the speech of Dr. Rafat Seema, Gen. Secretary, Nisa Research and Resource Centre for Women.
She said that 6th December is the black day in the history of humanity. To fight against the Hindutva terrorism, secular forces should unite and this program has been organized for this purpose.
Lateef Mohd. Khan, Gen. Secretary, Civil Liberties Monitoring Committee of India said that even after seventeen years, Babri Masjid has not been built and Liberhan Commission has come out with 68 names as accused in its report. Among them are Vajpayee, Advani, Joshi, Uma Bharati, Togadia, Kalyan Singh, Thackrey etc. “All these people participated in the demolition of the Babri Masjid, which is a terrorist act. It is very unfortunate for our country that these people have become Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, Home Minister, and Chief Minister. Now the time has come to punish these criminals for the safety and security of the country,” Khan said.
Varavara Rao, a revolutionary writer also participated in this programme. While addressing the gathering he said, India has gone under the control of Hindutva Fascism. He said even after seventeen years, Liberhan commission has submitted incomplete report. It is the time to strengthen the democratic forces, to rebuild Babri Masjid, and form Telangana state, if these demands are neglected, civil war kind of conditions would be created, and there would be no peace in the country.
Abhinav of KNPS (Kula Nirmulana Porata Samiti) said, Hindutva has entered in all kinds of departments including Military. Dalits and Muslims should unite and struggle for their rights.
The members of organizations present were Mujahid Hashmi, Awami Majlis-e-Amal, Prof. Rehana Sultana, CLMCI, Radha, APCMS, Raju, PDM, Dappu Ramesh, Jana Natya Mandali, Prabhakar, PKM, KVK Subramaniam, APCLC, Muneeruddin Mujahed, TKV and others.
