Lucknow: General Secretary of Markazi Chand Committee and Qazi-e-Shaher Maulana Khalid Rasheed Farangi Mahli Naib Imam, Aishbagh Eidgah has announced that moon for Ramzan has been sighted on 29 Shaban 1431 Hijri on Wednesday. Therefore the first day of fasting will be on Thursday. Farangi Mahli has also greeted the muslims on the occasion of holy month of Ramzan.
Maulana Khalid Rasheed Farangi Mahli and other members of Markazi Chand Committee sighting chand of Ramzanul Mubarak from Aishbagh Eidgah on Wednesday in Lucknow.
Shia cleric, Maulana Kalbe Sadiq too has announced that first day of Ramzan will be on Thursday.
