AMU announces result of Civil Services coaching entrance test

Aligarh: The result of the National Entrance Test conducted by the Residential Coaching
Academy (RCA) of Aligarh Muslim University was announced today by Prof. Ziauddin
Khairoowala, Director of the Academy. Against the 100 seats, 335 candidates have been
selected for interview and group discussion.

The test was conducted earlier this month at three centers namely Aligarh, Lucknow and
Kozhikode for selecting 100 candidates for 2011 Batch as a full time regular coaching
for Minorities/ Scheduled Castes (SCs)/ Scheduled Tribes (STs) & women candidates of
Civil/Judicial Services.

Prof. Ziauddin Khairoowala, Director of the Academy said that out of 1126
applicants about 617 candidates appeared in the written test and 293 of them were
declared qualified for Civil Service and 42 applicants for PCS (J). The Interview and
Group Discussion of qualified candidates will be held on September 15-18, 2010.
