New Delhi: Pahel NGO organised a plantation drive at a government Primary School run by Municipal Corporation of Delhi at Abul Fazal Enclave in Jamia Nagar area. The saplings were planted in the name of great Indian personalities like Mahatma Gandhi, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, Jawaharlal Nehru, Rabindranath Tagore etc.
The plantation was carried out in the presence of Chief Guest Er. Jamaluddin, Councilor of Okhla, Guest of Honor M. Mateen Azmi, Patron Pahel NGO. Ghazala Naqvi, Principal of the school was also present at the occasion.
The children of the school were briefed on importance of trees and their contribution to human life. Shams Alam, president Pahel, Iftekhar Hussain, Imran Khan, Ayub Ansari, Aktarul Islam, Parvez Azmi, Shakti Mehra, Anuj Narang, Shradha, Mansoor Khan and others attended this drive.
