AMU teacher wins Dr. S. Radhakrishnan Memorial Award

Aligarh: Prof. Najam Khaleeq, Department of Community Medicine, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University has been awarded prestigious Dr. S. Radhakrishnan Memorial National Teacher’s Honour Award.

The award has been presented to Prof. Najam Khaleeq in a function by Yoganand Shastri, Speaker of Delhi Assembly. Prof Khaleeq received a citation, memento and shawl in award. He has been honoured for his commendable contributions made in the field of medical education. The award has been bestowed upon Prof. Khaleeq on the occasion of 123rd birth anniversary of former President of India Late Dr. S. Radhakrishnan in a function held in the Constitution Hall, New Delhi jointly by the All India Swatantra Patrakar Aevam Lekhak Sangh and National Child and Women Development Charitable Trust.

Prof. Najam Khaleeq has been teaching in the Department of Community Medicine since last twenty years. He was nominated for the award in consideration of his documented contribution in the field of medical education in UP. He is also Medical Superintendent of Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College.

Dr. Najam is very dynamic medical scientist. He is honest and dedicated person with kind heart.

I appreciate the contribution of prof. Najam sb.

"jo abr yahan sa otha ga vo sara jahan per basega",Its happens to be more true by the contribution of Najam sb.He deserves this honour.Personality like him are a gift to the society for their unique contribution in the field of medical sciences. we all should respect such great personality of out great Nation "INDIA".
