New Delhi: Students of minority communities eligible for centrally-funded pre or post-matric scholarship schemes can now submit their application forms for the year 2011-2012 by 31st August 2011. The last date was 15th August, which has now been extended by the order of the Union Ministry of Minority Affairs.
According to the order dated 19th August 2011, the date has been extended for fresh applications. Such students can now send their filled-in applications to their concerned state/UT departments by 31st August. The ministry has also asked states/UTs to give due publicity to the extension of the last for the benefit of eligible students.
For the renewal cases for these two scholarship schemes, the last date (already extended) is 31st October 2011.
