New Delhi: The Central Committee of Communist Ghadar Party of India [CGPI] in its statement on ‘6th December’, the 19th anniversary of the destruction of the historical monument Babri Masjid, sought people to look back at the disaster and the political developments since then.
It stated that the destruction was organised by the BJP with tacit support from the then Congress Party, which held power at New Delhi. The criminal act was followed by widespread and large scale communal violence; the statement accused these two principal parliamentary parties for Inciting and organising such acts. The statement asked the people to take stock and sum up the lessons, so that they could well prepare to escalate the struggle against the criminal and corrupt rule of the capitalist exploiters.
It further said that the solution to communal violence, to state and individual terrorism, and to unbridled corruption lies in the Navnirman of the state and political process; to enable the toiling majority to rule and reorient the economy to provide for all.
