Aligarh: The President of India, in his capacity as the Visitor of the Aligarh Muslim University, has appointed three persons as his nominees at the Aligarh Muslim University Court. They include Mr. S. Y. Quraishi, former Chief Election Commissioner of India.
According to Dr. Rahat Abrar, Public Relations Officer, AMU, Dr. Mohd. Anis Ansari, Vice Chancellor, Urdu Arabi Farsi University, Lucknow, and Mr. Yusuf Khwaja Hamied, Chairman, CIPLA, Mumbai are other two nominees of the President of India at AMU Court. All three have been appointed for a period of three years with effect from 29.8.2012.
