Hyderabad: Assistant General Secretary of All India Muslim Personal Law Board Maulana Abdul Raheem Qureshi criticized Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and stated that until these kinds of organizations are not banned and till there is no mass movement against their ideology, communal riots will continue in the nation.
Mr. Qureshi who is also the president of All india Majlis-e-Tammer-e-Millat expressed this views while addressing a symposium titled ‘Why this riots doesn’t stop’. He claimed that Hindutva ideologues are following step by step the policy adopted by the British to topple Muslim kings in 18th century.
Maulana Abdul Raheem Qureshi explained that to capture Government out of Muslim hands, British started propagating false rumours and started igniting Hindu passion against Muslims, “They even commissioned Benagli Hindus to write doctored history against Aurangzeb and made it popular in the grass roots. And through these wicked policies in 1757 British was successful in taking over the power of Bnegal.”
Mr. Qureshi drew a parallel between Hindutva and British, “Today Hindutva agents are planning the same strategy, and they are distorting medieval history and facts of Indian independence movement to portray Muslims as demons to create fear and hatred towards minority community among majority community to capture absolute power like of 18th century module.”
Mr. Qureshi claimed that anti-Muslim hatred created by the British was fanned more by Hindutva ideologues like Bankim Chandra Chattergee, Sham Prakash Banerjee and Vinyaka Savarkar and MS Gowalkar. He said, “Anti-Muslim hatred is getting propagated on the same bristsih drawn lines which can be witnessed in the books like, ‘Hindutva’, ‘We our nationhood defined’, ‘The Bunch of Thoughts’ all written by Hindutva custodians.”
Mr. Qureshi made it clear “till organizations like RSS which doesn’t recognize Indian Constitution and their publications don’t get banned, hatred against Muslims will continue, and consequently the riots will also continue.”
He said RSS and all Sangh Parivar affiliates are anti-Nationals who want to turn secular India into a Hindutva Rashtra, “The day BJP comes to power with full majority at center they will transform Indian constitution into Manu smriti,” he allged.
