While SP fights, BJP prepares extensive roadmap for upcoming UP elections

The Samajwadi Party may be busy with its infighting, but it is clear that the BJP is doing all it can to stake a claim in UP. From females to farmers, intellectuals to Dalits—Bhartiya Janata Party has drawn a roadmap to cater to all segments in the upcoming assembly polls of Uttar Pradesh.

BJP has planned its election campaign in an organised manner so that its aggressive campaigning reaches every section of the society.

The party has already purchased over 1,500 bikes for the activists and is organising Kamal Mela in each district.

All the programmes will commence after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s proposed rally in Lucknow on January 2.

Udaan:

Focussing on females, the programme will be held on January 6. Anchored by
union minister Smriti Irani, the programme will see Irani interact with females through video conferencing. She will be at Subharti University, Meerut. BJP’s Video van will be stationed in each assembly seat, with at least 500 females at each van. Then at least one women’s college in every district will be tapped. BJP has plans to reach at least 6.50 crore females through the programme.

Maati Se Tilak:

The programme has been conceived for farmers. Farmers will bring soil from their field and apply tilak with it on others. First phase will begin from January 4 where BJP leaders will reach to villages in at least 343 assembly seats. They will propagate PM Narendra Modi’s farmer benefitting policies. Later in second phase there will Kisan Rallies in every Vidhan Sabha from 13 January where BJP leaders will take pledge for the welfare of farmers by applying tilak from the soil of farmer’s field.

Intellectual Meet:

In UP’s 13 big cities including Varanasi,Allahabad, Sultanpur etc there will be Prabudh Varg sammelan between January 5-15. BJP plans to disseminate information about central government’s policy for the welfare and progress of the country.

Scheduled Caste Sammelan:

These will be held between January 5-15 in every assembly segment where BJP leaders will extend their programmes exclusively for Dalit electorate.

Booth Sammelan:

In all the 403 assembly segment, booth-level sammelans will be held between January 10 and February 10.
