Police officials said several health workers were taken into custody and later released.

The workers blocked Dak Bungalow Square, the busiest crossing in Patna, in support of their demands.

The workers demanded benefits under skill upgradation scheme, which was denied to them due to non-framing of cadre rules by the state government.
