Prince Khalid Al-Faisal inspects Holy Places for Hajj preparations

Makkah : Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, the Governor of Makkah region, and Head of the Hajj Central Committee, inspected here today the Holy Places accompanied by Dr Hamad Al–Mani, the Health minister, and Dr Fouad Al-Faresi, the Hajj minister, and members of the Hajj Central Committee and a number of senior officials.

Prince Khalid Al-Faisal began the inspection tour from Jamrat zone in Mina.

He was briefed on the Third Phase of the Project of Jamrat bridge, which was implemented at a total cost of SR 480 million.

He also inspected the facility of Command and Control at the Public Security premises in Mina in addition to the Project of the housing units in Mina.

Prince Khalid also inspected the extension of King Khalid road at the conjunction of the road with the street of Sheikh Abdullah Al-Khayyat.

These projects and other projects like the project of drainage of rain water at the Holy Places and the project of the dam at al-Mu’eisim were implemented by the ministry of municipal and rural affairs at a total cost of more than SR 1.7 billion.
