Kabul : Afghan troops in Kandahar have killed 10 Taliban rebels, the country’s defence ministry has said.
“In the operation launched against militants in Mianishin district of Kandahar province Friday, 10 rebels were killed,” the statement said.
It also confirmed that four Afghan soldiers sustained injuries during the operation.
There was no immediate comment by the Taliban fighters.
