India bowled out for 196, trail Australia by 147 runs

Melbourne : India were bowled out for 196 runs in the first innings in reply to Australia’s 343 on the second day of the first Test match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) here Thursday.

Sachin Tendulkar was the top scorer with 62 and Sourav Ganguly made 43. For Australia, Brett Lee and Stuart Clark picked up four wickets each.
