This is a major policy and it will be decided after discussion at the council of advisers meeting, Law and Information Adviser Barrister Mainul Hosein told reporters at his secretariat office here Sunday.

The government will see what sort of politics the political parties need for helping the election process and how it could be allowed, he said adding that "We have to consider the situation of the country on politics. Everything has to be done considering the overall situation of the country".

As there is restriction on indoor politics the political parties should seek government permission for holding councils to bring reforms in the parties, he said.

The politicians should shoulder the major responsibilities of bad politics in the past although some quarters including few lawyers, journalists and intellectuals supported such sort of politics, he said.

In replying to a question, he said the rules separating judiciary from the administration have been effective from today. The process has started and it will take some time, he said adding everything will be completed when the Supreme Court will be prepared for it.

"Politics is not the power of the corrupts but it is the power of the people," Adviser said adding that the honest people should join politics in order to make the democracy a success. "Corrupted persons will be brought under trial, none will be spared," he added.

Replying to another question on reforms proposals of the political parties he said the reforms is a major task and there is nothing to make hurry for it as there is scope of establishing a democratic government by holding free and fair elections by 2008.

Regarding arrest of insurgents and the persons involved in emerging insurgencies in the country he said the government would arrest and punish them, if there is such evidence against anyone.
