Islamabad : Six soldiers were confirmed dead and four others injured in a suicide bomb attack on an army convoy in Pakistan's tribal area Wednesday, private Pakistani news agency NNI reported.
The attack took place in the North Waziristan tribal region Wednesday morning army spokesman Major General Waheed Arshad said.
A suicide bomber launched the attack at the army convoy, which was travelling from Mir Ali in North Waziristan to Bannu, a major city near the tribal region.The injured have been shifted to a military hospital in Bannu.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
