Australia has 130 points, with South Africa eight points behind at the second spot. New Zealand at the third position has 113 points while Pakistan is ranked fourth with 111 points and Sri Lanka fifth with 110 points. India with 109 points is at sixth spot.

West Indies, despite a 2-1 series win over England, are eighth with 101 points. England is seventh with 102 points.

The West Indies will have an opportunity to improve its position when they travel to Ireland to take part in a quadrangular series with the Netherlands and Scotland as well as the host team in Dublin and Belfast.

With every game in that quadrangular series carrying a one-day status, there is an opportunity for the players from those top Associates to improve their rankings.

Also, Scotland can join its Associate rivals Kenya and Ireland on the table if it beats the West Indies in Dublin Thursday. Already boasting the requisite win rate in excess of 60 percent against the top Associates, the Scots will secure a place on the main table by beating a Full Member.

Indeed, the Netherlands will also move up to the main table if they beat the West Indies in Dublin Tuesday and Ireland in Belfast the following day as they will then have the 60 percent win rate against Associates plus the win over a Full Member required to gain that promotion.

Team rankings:

1. Australia 130 rating points
2. South Africa 122
3. New Zealand 113
4. Pakistan 111
5. Sri Lanka 110
6. India 109
7. England 102
8. West Indies 101
9. Bangladesh 45
10. Ireland 27
11. Zimbabwe 22
12. Kenya 0
