Baghdad : At least six people were killed and five wounded Wednesday when two bombs went off in the Iraqi capital, independent Voices of Iraq news agency reported quoting a police source.
The two explosive charges detonated near the main bus station in Ameen neighbourhood in southeastern Baghdad and damaged two civilian cars parked nearby, the source said.
The Iraqi security forces sealed off the area, while ambulances rushed the wounded to a nearby hospital.
Meanwhile, two US soldiers were killed Tuesday when a roadside bomb went off next to their vehicle during combat operations in western Baghdad, the US military said Wednesday.
