Madrid : Madrid: Former Spain striker Diego Tristan has signed for Italian club Livorno, according to the digital version of Marca. Tristan, 32, has signed a one-year contract with Livorno, where he will be competing for the centre-forward slot with ex-Valencia striker Francesco Tavano.
Livorno have been looking for new forwards since selling Cristiano Lucarelli to Shakhtar Donetsk. Tristan has been without a club since being released by Mallorca in June, having failed to score a single goal for the islanders in 13 games.
