Islamabad : SSP Islamabad, Zafar Iqbal said that the capital has been put on high alert and checking has been made strict at entry and exit points of the city. He said the alert will remain in force for another few days.
Replying to a question about the entrance of six to eight suicide attackers in Islamabad, the SSP said there were some reports and pre-emptive measures had been taken to avoid such kind of incidents in future.
Talking to APP, he termed the bomb blast at Aabpara on Friday as a very unfortunate incident.
Zafar Iqbal said extra police force has been deputed at all entry and exit points while hotels are also being checked.
