New Delhi : Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Tuesday briefed President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam on the discussions he had with leaders of various countries at the G8 Summit in Germany earlier this month.
During the 25-minute meeting at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, the prime minister informed the president of the talks he had with leaders of the outreach countries – Brazil, China, Mexico and South Africa – at the three-day summit from July 7 held at Heiligendamm, according to an official release.
Manmohan Singh and Kalam also discussed other issues of national importance.
The meeting was described as part of regular interaction between the two leaders.
