Baghdad : A suicide bomber Thursday killed at least 13 people and wounded over 30 in Iraq's Sulaiman Pek town, north of this capital.
"(The) bomber drove his explosives-laden tanker into a compound, which houses the local government building and the town's police headquarters," the source said.
Parts of the compound and several nearby houses were also destroyed in the blast in Salahudin province.
The toll is likely to rise as rescue workers continue removing debris in search of more victims.
