Dhaka : After winning the second one-day international against Bangladesh here Saturday, Indian team's cricket manager Ravi Shastri said that he would like his team to win the three-match series 3-0.
"We have come here to show no mercy because we take no prisoners. We want to finish it 3-0," Shastri, a former India captain, told reporters here after India's 46-run win that gave the team a 2-0 win at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.
"If Bangladesh is expecting us to go soft in the last game at Chittagong, they have another one (defeat) coming."
The third match will be played Tuesday in Chittagong.
Shastri said that he want to win every game he plays, whether as a player or coach.
"That's me when I play the sport, when I played the sport, I want to win every game I compete in. No matter what the opposition I think of winning," he said.
"Indian fans are very demanding and they would want India to beat Bangladesh 3-0."
Shastri, who turned to television commentary after quitting international cricket, stressed that he had taken up the present job on one-off basis.
"I have said very clearly that I am here for the Bangladesh tour," he said.
