“One wonders how to express ones anger and disgust at such acts because condemnation has become a formality and as far as the Indian authorities are concerned this word has lost its significance. CIM’s Chairman Mr Munaf Zeena said in a statement issued today.

“This multiplicand butchery has almost become a norm. Unless and until the Indian Government launches an investigation and makes the perpetrators a lesson for their backers and the would-be terrorists we will continue to witnesses more and more of these beastly acts. Zeena said.

“We find it extremely shocking and outrageous that some groups have the audacity of blaming the so called extremist Muslims for such acts and providing the traditionally and proven anti-Muslim elements in the law enforcement agencies the pretext to harass, arrest, torture and humiliate ordinary Muslims, all in the name of interrogation. In the light of the failure to investigate previous incidents and punish the culprits if anyone is responsible for this dance of death and terror, it is the government of the day. Zeena added.

He also said, “If the Government is serious in its claim that it wants to stop the occurrence of such events then it has no option but to order a CBI probe and bring the perpetrators to justice.

“As for the terrorists, we say to them, ‘mature Indian masses have repeatedly shamed you by not being provoked by your satanic acts thus refusing to fall prey to your plans. We salute their farsightedness and forbearance and pray that they remain steadfast in such moments of severe tests.’ Zeena further said.
“May the Almighty bless the souls of the deceased and give their survivors the courage to face this tragedy with dignity and maturity.
