Kathmandu : Over two dozen Indian pilgrims have been injured, three of them critically, when their bus skidded off the road in western Nepal.
A bus with an Indian number plate, carrying 56 pilgrims from western India's Gujarat state, fell off the highway in Kamalabari village Monday morning, a report said.
While over 20 people were discharged after first aid, three seriously injured were hospitalized.
They have been identified as Panubhai, 50, of Vadodara, Amlal Lalabhai, 64, and Harshmukh A Dorjee, 53, the Naya Patrika daily said Tuesday.
They have been admitted to the Gandaki regional hospital, it said.
Police have detained the driver of the bus, Gujarat resident Mahendra Singh, for questioning.
The bus, on a scheduled tour of Nepal's pilgrim sites, was heading for Pokhara city when it fell nearly 10 metres off the Prithvi Highway.
