Several strong views came forward from the various participants including how the communal politicians are using or exploiting the democracy for electoral gains and moreover the electoral democracy is also being distorted with same fashion in the rest of South Asian states. It also came into the limelight that the democracy is taking the shape of majoritarianism democracy which is emerging as a suppressive institution for the minority and humanity.

The other argument which was made by the participants was that the political exploitative techniques are so smart that ruling parties at the state and centre level know that how to hide the real issues by raising the emotive one for example the budget was passed just day before the communal carnage in Gujarat to deviate the mind of people from the real issues.

Moreover, it was also suggested that to stop the majoritarianism, there is need to have a Minority Commission of South Asia as our politics is interrelated particularly in the context of the communal forces and its causes.

The other argument was that the liberalization leads to marginalization and maximization of marginal. So to out space their real issues, the burning issues like religion would certainly become the popular for the political parties by bypassing the real ones like poverty, illiteracy, right to dignified life etc.

The role of media was also discussed as to how the media handled the Gujarat issue thereby sometimes playing dangerous role. Media has failed to priorities the issues and to delink themselves from the political parties as well.

It has also been discussed that the role of communal forces is getting empowered and what should be there to marginalize them. It came into the limelight that there is a need to rationalize and to secularize the society and also people start understanding and comprehending the plurality and its fruits, thereby making them as an asset rather than
a problem.

There must be antireligious studies to prune the jist of religion from its misinterpretation.
It also came as a strong argument that communalism is directly linked with economy, thus, there is a need to target both simultaneously.
