Riyadh : OPEC Secretary General Abdallah al-Badri denied Wednesday claims that China and India are responsible for the rise in international oil prices.
In an exclusive statement to Xinhua, al-Badri dismissed the allegations that China and India were responsible for the soaring oil prices, adding that the consumption of the two countries is normal and just in line with their demands.
The chief of the oil cartel made the remarks during the preparatory meetings for the 3rd OPEC summit in Riyadh.
