Heavy restrictions continue on the deposed judges who cannot come out of their houses, he said.

“(Former chief justice) Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry still can’t come out of his house, the police are still laying siege to it. The other day I tried to meet him but I could not,” the Daily Times quoted Bhagwandas as saying.

“If the government is saying that judges are free to move, you can try and come to the judges’ enclave. If you can get in then it is ok, you can say they have lifted restrictions,” Bhagwandas said.

Meanwhile, police manning barricades across the road that leads to the houses of the sacked chief justice and other former judges in Islamabad did not allow reporters to enter the area to speak to the judges.
