Pakistan win toss, bat in first Test

New Delhi : Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik won the toss and decided to bat in the first Test against India at the Ferozeshah Kotla Stadium here Thursday.

India decided to go with two pacers and two spinners. As announced by new captain Anil Kumble Wednesday, Yuvraj Singh was left out of the playing squad. He was named the 12th man. Pakistan picked three speedsters and a lone spinner in Danish Kaneria.
