Abu Dhabi : United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) postal service Emirates Post (EP) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Indian postal department to facilitate money transfers to India.
This will provide the Indian expatriate community in UAE the facility of sending money orders to their dependants using the chain of post offices spread over both countries.
The MoU was signed between Deputy Director General for Operations of the Emirates Post Salem Al Shae and Director General of Indian Postal Service Faiz Al Rahman during a recent visit by an EP delegation to India.
