Tehran : Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani and the EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana have agreed to hold talks in early October.
An official with the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) said that Larijani and Solana exchanged views on arrangements for fresh talks during a telephonic conversation Tuesday, Iranian news agency IRNA reported.
Larijani pointed to the modality plan, as the fundamental measures Iran has adopted for comprehensive settlement of the dispute with the UN nuclear agency, saying that it had been the outcome of his former talks with Solana.
“Of course, there are some unwarranted voices these days which can be interpreted as sabotage to the constructive way of doing things and a sort of blackmailing,” Larijani said in his conversation with Solana.
