India opt to bat first against South Africa

Durban : India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat against South Africa in a crucial Super Eights match of the Twenty20 World Championship here Thursday.

There is some bad news for India as Yuvraj Singh has been ruled out of this match with tendonitis of the left elbow and will be replaced by Dinesh Karthik. There’s also one change for South Africa, with Makhaya Ntini coming back into the eleven in place of Andre Nel.
