NEW DELHI, Sept 22 (APP): A jailed Muslim, Irshad Ali has appealed to Indian Prime minister Manmohan Singh to intervene to save his life at the hands of Indian intelligence agencies which implicated him and other Muslims in fake terrorist cases.
The Indian daily “The Times of India” published on Saturday a letter from Irshad Ali, an inmate of Tihar jail in which he narrated his awesome story as to how he was implicated in fake cases.
In his letter, Irshad said “I was an informer for the special cell of Delhi police which works closely with IB. Having worked with them, I feel duty bound to apprise the people how “they manufacture terrorists.”
He said the IB could not nab those who were responsible for blasts in different places in India, but, in order to keep their ranks and earn rewards, IB and Special Cell of Delhi police “create terrorists.”
They have employed a number of youths on a very paltry remuneration. They are not regular employees, but vagabonds who are given mobile phones and protection.
He further said these hired people are asked to fan out and hire accommodation somewhere in the city. They mingle with unemployed youths and become their friend. The Special Cell helps them with equipment and even stolen vehicle to start operation in the city.
When these hired people reach the target, all are trapped and arrested by the Special Cell and dubbed as terrorists. Then medals and bravery rewards follow.
Irshad Ali said the Special Cell is a group of licensed marauders. They are venomous against Muslims. His fault was that he refused to go along with them for too long. They can book anybody, plant explosives, give name of some organization and get away with it. He was also trapped in such a way.
Irshad Ali who has been languishing in Tihar jail for the last 18 months, has appealed to the Indian Prime Minister to intervene in the matter and provide justice to him and other Muslims who are falsely implicated in fake terrorist cases by IB and Special Cell of Delhi police.
