Baghdad : US forces killed an Iraqi family of seven, including women and children, Saturday for being suspected of belonging to a militia group north of Al Hilla.
A police security source told an Iraqi news Agency that the US forces stormed Al Jailawi family home and opened fire on them.
No comment was available from the US side.
Meanwhile, 11 people, including two policemen, were injured in a bomb blast in a market in the Sulyman Bek area Saturday, an Iraqi police source in the Salaheldin Province said .
The source said that the area had been evacuated and the injured taken to hospital.
