The victims, suspected to have links with terrorist outfits, included a woman.

A pistol, a timer and a transistor have been recovered from the house in Champasari area of Siliguri.

Owner of the house Ramapati Sahu has been arrested. Nawla said the house was rented out to some students from Sikkim two months ago.

“But whether they are the same who died in the blast is not clear,” he said.

Siliguri, a bustling town under Darjeeling district of West Bengal, is about 600 km from here.
