New Delhi : Prakash Amritraj fought back to clinch a thrilling five-setter against Go Soeda of Japan in the second singles to give India a 2-0 lead in the Asia Oceania Davis Cup Group I tie here Friday.
Amritraj came back after losing the first two sets to win 4-6, 6-7 (5), 6-4, 6-4, 8-6 against Soeda.
Earlier, Rohan Bopanna prevailed over Kei Nishikori 7-6 (2) 3-6, 6-4, 6-4, 2-6, 6-3 in the first singles match.
