Beijing : Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Jiang Yu on Thursday advised members of the Group 5+1 to step up diplomatic efforts to help resolve Iran’s nuclear program.
Speaking to reporters, she highlighted the outcome of the meeting of the Group 5+1 held in Shanghai and said the participating countries should show more flexibility to find a suitable and comprehensive solution to the issue.
At the meeting, director general for foreign relations at European Union underlined the need to draw up a plan to resume talks with Iran.
Participants in the Group 5+1 meeting reached a consensus on the need to resume talks with Iran, she underlined.
