Cairo : The Arab League has strongly condemned Israel’s barbaric aggression against the Palestinians in Gaza which resulted in the death of more than 20 people and the injury of tens of others including children and elderly women and men.
The Arab League Secretariat noted in a statement here Thursday the continuing suffering of the Palestinian people in Gaza, including a real humanitarian and environmental crisis amid ongoing Israeli imposed sanctions and the closure of borders to energy and power supplies.
The statement also denounced what it described “Israel’s holocaust and collective punishment” against the Palestinian people through continuous military operations.
The Arab League called on the international community to implement approved international resolutions and humanitarian laws based on the fourth Geneva Convention and highlight the failure to treat Israel as “an occupying state,” as though it is above the law.
The Secretariat also warned all involved parties of the danger of Israel’s continuous aggression and its genocide war against the Palestinians which will bring grave consequences to the whole region.
