Amman : Jordan’s King Abdullah II is scheduled to meet US President George W.Bush in Washington on Wednesday.
King Abdullah, who will visit Washington at Bush’s invitation, will discuss progress in the Palestinian-Israeli negotiations, the latest developments in the region and means to bolster bilateral ties between both countries.
Meanwhile, His Majesty has left for Manama on a two-day visit to Bahrain during which he will hold talks with the King of Bahrain Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifah on the current situation in the Middle East.
The talks will also touch on bilateral cooperation and means to boost them in various fields.
His Majesty was accompanied by Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein and Royal Court Chief Bassem Awadallah.
Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein was sworn in as regent in the presence of cabinet ministers.
