Ramallah : Israeli forces arrested 20Palestinians in the West Bank early Tuesday, Palestinian security sources and Israeli media said.
An Israeli radio said the army arrested 20 Palestinians in northern and central West Bank, who were wanted for conducting activities against Israel.
Meanwhile, Palestinian sources said a 28-year-old policeman named Sami al-Houh was among the detainees, who was taken from his house in Nablus city.
At Merda, a town near Salfit city, residents threw stones at the Israeli army jeeps when they stormed the town and arrested a number of people.
The Israeli army enters West Bank towns and villages every night and arrests residents, saying the detention targets who are wanted by Israel.
