According to the resolutions passed by Markazi Majlis-e-Shoora (Central Advisory Council) of JIH at the end of its sessions held here from April 17-20, JIH expressed concern that the country is also blindly copying the anti-Islam and anti-Muslim war declared by U.S. on the pretext of war on terror. Wherever any incident of terrorism occurs, it is immediately attributed to Muslims. Showing irresponsibility, police and administration express their opinion in media without any substantial evidence. Whether a mosque is attacked or a graveyard or a shrine or the national parliament, Muslims are blamed for every incident. Similarly, local Muslim organizations are tied with militant organizations and no evidence is deemed necessary for this allegation, JIH said.

The organization demanded minority status for Jamia Millia Islamia and that the university should be exempted from OBC quota.

On the country’s economic situation, JIH expressed concern over rising rate of inflation which is resulting in more troubles and problems for general public.

JIH demanded immediate end of Gaza siege, provision for essential needs of Palestinians and restoration of Hamas government.
