Irving (Texas) : Indian born Swede Daniel Chopra has missed the halfway cut at the E.D.S. Byron Nelson Championship golf here.
Chopra Friday shot a second successive four-over 74 that gave him a total of eight-over 148, five shots off the cut mark.
Adam Scott of Australia was in lead with a second-round 67 with a total five-under 135. One stroke behind him were compatriots Mark Hensby (67), Matthew Goggin (69) and Scott McCarran (66).
A below par showing off the tee and inability to find the greens in regulation on more than 40 percent of the occasions resulted in Chopra struggling despite some fine putting. He had only 26 putts but the accuracy off the tee was just over 20 percent.
Chopra had four bogeys, a double bogey and two birdies in his round Friday.
Scott began his round with four straight birdies. He managed only one more to go with two bogeys but it was enough to give him the sole lead.
Trevor Immelman followed his opening 78 with a 75 and became the first Masters champion since 1994 to miss the cut in the tournament.
