Kuwait : The Interior Ministry’s Elections Affairs Department Sunday reported that four candidates in the 2008 NA elections have opted out, bringing the number down to 366, down from the original 380 candidates who filed for candidacy upon start of registration.
The candidates are Mohammad Eisa Ali Hassan from the first constituency, Adel Mohammad Mahdi and Mezel Mohammad Al-Nimran from the fourth constituency, and Adnan Roudhan Jowdah from the fifth constituency.
The last day to opt out of the elections is May 14 and the elections are set for May 17.
