Colombo, Sri Lanka : Fighting between government forces and Tamil separatists across Sri Lanka’s embattled north killed 23 rebels and one soldier, the military said Wednesday.
The latest round of fighting, on Tuesday, was along the front lines separating government-controlled territory from the rebels’ de facto state in the north, the Associated Press reported.
