Amritsar : Six kg of heroin, worth millions of rupees in the international market, was seized Saturday from a smuggler, police here said.
The special narcotics cell of Punjab police arrested Swaran Singh from near Jandiala Guru area, 15 km from here.
Singh, police officials said, had connections with Pakistan-based drugs smugglers.
He was nabbed following a tip-off while he was waiting to deliver the consignment to Delhi, narcotics cell chief Tulsi Ram said.
