Ramallah : Hamas has released Dr Zakaria Al-Agha, PLO’s executive committee member, after 10 days in captivity.
Al-Agha, in a statement immediately after his release, said he denounced politically motivated arrests in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, calling for the release of all political prisoners.
He called for dialogue to end the standoff between Hamas and Fatah.
Al-Agha was arrested 10 days ago by the ex-Hamas government in the wake of bomb explosions at the beach of Gaza that killed five members of Hamas’ military wing and a baby girl.
