Islamabad : At least 13 people were killed and 11 injured Tuesday when a bomb explosion targeted a Pakistan Air Force bus in the country’s northwestern city of Peshawar, officials said.
The blast occurred when the vehicle was passing over a bridge, but it was not clear whether it was caused by a roadside bomb or a suicide attack.
“Eleven bodies were brought to the hospital while two of the victims succumbed to their injuries,” Lady Reading Hospital medical officer Khizar Hayat said.
Another 11 injured were brought to the hospital, four of whom were said to be in critical condition.
