Mumbai: The Movement for Peace & Justice of Maharashtra (MPJ) has deplored the recent bandh and disruptions caused by BJP and VHP “to divide the society on communal lines.”
“We know from the day of Independence the evils of fascist face in our country. Now in form of Sangharsh Samiti for Amarnath shrine they have viciously marred the peace of Jammu & Khashmir,” says a statement.
“We see a merely politics to gain mileage for coming election 2009. The peace loving citizens of this country know the hidden agenda of BJP and its allies,” says the MPJ.
MPJ has appealed to all people to maintain peace and harmony and demanded the Central government to take hard step to curb this Hindutva design of hatred.
